Here is a brief analysis of some of the key tax measures in Budget 2022.

The Malaysian Budget 2022 was announced on 29 October 2021 by the Minister of Finance and the Finance Bill 2021 was tabled for the first reading in Parliament on 9 November 2021.

The Budget 2022, being the nation’s biggest budget to-date, has a total allocation of RM332.1 billion. It was passed on 13 December. The allocation is broadly distributed as follows:-
